Hello,
This is Ms. Young.
I will be teaching ninth and tenth grade English as well as College and Career Foundations at Paloma Valley High School this year. I will be using Google Classroom as my platform this year.
This year begins my 23rd year in the district.
I began working for Perris Union High School District in 1999.
I have taught at Paloma, The Academy, Perris Lake High School, Scholarplus Online Learning Academy, and Perris Community Adult School.
I am primarily an English teacher but I have also taught a variety of subjects over the years in the district. I have taught grades 7-12 and adult education. I love my job and I love working with the young people in our district. I have a single subject credential in English and a multiple subject credential too.
Feel free to email me if you have any questions. dyanna.young@puhsd.org
I have Remind Codes for parents/students who want to download the app to communicate with me. It is listed by period. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Ekmm8lqOjJEW-CeT_UoNSo1CS1GQbyhtgWTcP3Wlh3I/view
Students will be expected to turn work in on time. Late work will not be accepted if it is over a week late. Students who get in the habit of procrastinating, tend to have more difficulty passing their classes. Please see the sub-page for the syllabi for the classes I am teaching.
Please make sure you check grades and attendance regularly in Infinite Campus. If you do not know how to access Infinite Campus, please contact your student's counselor.
