My name is Jocelyn Santillan I graduated from Cal State San Bernardino with two bachelor's degrees in Spanish, Language, and Literature; I then attended and graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a Master's degree in Digital Teaching and Learning and a Single Teaching Credential. While attending APU I was working as a substitute teacher in the Corona-Norco Unified School District, I worked there for two years before becoming a Rough Rider. I have now been teaching at CMI (California Military Institute) since 2015 and this year I will be teaching SpanishI and SpanishII for non-native speakers.
Students will be using Canvas and Vista Higher Learning as their main platforms for learning. Also, all classes will be using Remind.com as the main source of communication, both students and parents will be receiving important notifications about what is going on in the class and reminders about due dates on projects and more. I definitely encourage all parents to join this service to keep track of what is going on in the class. Parents if you want to join please email me so that I can guide you on how to sign up or have your child give you the directions from Canvas.
