Hello and welcome to Liberty!

My name is Ms. Vargas and I am super excited to teach history! I am teaching World History and US History for the 2022-2023 school year. I am also the history teacher for the Health Sciences and Medical Technology Pathway! All information, including my syllabus, is located in Canvas, please check your Canvas page.

I grew up in this area and have a deep love for this community. I am so happy to be back and serve you and your student! I have a Bachelor's of Arts in Latin American & Iberian Studies and History of Art & Architecture from UC Santa Barbara and a Master's of Arts in Education, Learning, and Teaching from the University of Redlands. Throughout my education career I have also studied abroad in 3 different countries in South America and Europe!
