Hello and welcome to Liberty High School, home of the Herd! A little background about me: I earned both my BA in Psychology and my MA in Special Education from the University of New Mexico. I have taught elementary, middle, and high school in a variety of settings, and this will be my 19th year of teaching. My favorite aspect of teaching is working with students and their parents, as well as collaborating with my colleagues to brainstorm ideas that will benefit my students. My husband and I are both from Indiana originally but have lived in CA since 2008. We have three children, ages 21, 18, and 17, and we also have three dogs (a Bassett Hound and two Great Danes). I love California and enjoy bicycling, camping, hiking, and going to the beach.
This year, I will be using Canvas as my learning platform and will be teaching Basic English 10 and Study Skills. As we begin the school year in a state-of-the-art facility, I look forward to getting to know my students and working together to accomplish our academic goals at Liberty High School. I can be reached by email or phone if you have any questions.
Let's make it a great year! Go Bison!
